Review of Encuentro Hostel, GuatapéOur family recently spent a delightful vacation at Encuentro Hostel, nestled near a serene lake just a ten-minute walk from the vibrant centre of Guatapé. The balance of tranquil nature and urban accessibility was a significant highlight for us. From the outset, the warmth of the staff, who treated us as part of their extended family, created an inviting atmosphere for our visit. Each morning, we enjoyed a varied breakfast that delighted both children and adults, ensuring we were well-fueled for our day's adventures. The outdoor yoga area provided my wife and me with an opportunity for a peaceful morning routine, complemented by the natural beauty around us. Our youngest particularly enjoyed the gentle paddle boarding, allowing him to explore the calm waters under our watchful eyes. Evenings were special - we gathered around the fireplace downstairs, while our children ventured onto the balcony to relax in the netting, soaking up the picturesque views. Encouraged by our family experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Encuentro for families seeking a harmonious blend of relaxation and activity in Guatapé.
